Bridgeitin Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-16 · Effective from: the date of publication
1. Introduction
Bridgeitin (operated by the founders of Bridgeitin, with formal incorporation in Singapore currently in progress) (“Bridgeitin,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a platform that helps individual experts track and manage their consulting engagements in one place.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. It applies to experts who use this platform. We have drafted this Policy to reflect the requirements of the EU/UK GDPR, the Personal Data Protection Act of Singapore (PDPA), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and equivalent regimes that apply to the personal data we process.
2. Summary
We help you keep track of the paid consulting requests you receive and manage your related correspondence in one place. Any optional integration only ever acts on your explicit, per-action approval — nothing is sent or accessed automatically on your behalf. We do not sell your personal data. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data at any time at privacy@bridgeitin.com.
3. The personal data we collect
We collect the personal data you provide directly (such as your name, email, phone, and professional background), the content of correspondence and engagement records you manage through the platform, and, only if you choose to connect them, limited data from optional integrations (such as calendar availability or messaging authorization). We also collect standard technical data (such as IP address and device information) needed to operate and secure the platform. We do not collect payment card or bank details, and no payment processor is integrated into the platform.
4. How we use your data, and our legal bases
We use your data to operate your account and the platform’s features, to provide any optional integrations you connect, and to keep the platform secure. Our legal bases include performance of our contract with you, your consent for optional features, our legitimate interests in security and platform integrity, and compliance with legal obligations, as applicable under the GDPR, PDPA, and CCPA.
5. How we share your data
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the platform (bound by confidentiality obligations), with third-party providers of any optional integration you choose to connect, where required by law, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition.
6. Optional Google integrations
Where an optional integration involves Google (such as calendar availability or sending a message through your own Google account), our use of that data is governed by the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Data obtained this way is used only to provide the feature you connected, is never sold or used for advertising or to train AI models, and you may disconnect at any time from your account settings or directly through your Google Account permissions.
7. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete your data subject to any legal retention requirement. Authorization for any connected integration is deleted when you disconnect it.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what we collect and why, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise any right, contact privacy@bridgeitin.com; we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
9. How we protect your data
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption and access controls limiting each user to their own data. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you and relevant authorities of any breach as required by law.
10. Automated tools
We may use automated tools to help organize your correspondence and suggest possible next steps. These are only suggestions — nothing changes and no message is sent unless you personally review and confirm it. We do not use your data to train generalized AI models.
11. Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed to operate the platform (such as keeping you logged in). We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies.
12. Children
The platform is not directed at, and not intended for, individuals under 18.
13. Cross-border transfers
We may process and transfer personal data across borders to operate the platform, relying on Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or other valid transfer mechanisms as required under applicable law.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always posted at bridgeitin.com/privacy with the date of last update at the top. We will provide notice of material changes before they take effect.
15. How to contact us
If you have a question about this Policy or want to exercise any right, contact us at privacy@bridgeitin.com. This Policy does not itself form a contract; the terms governing your use of the platform are set out separately in our Terms of Service.
